Hi everyone, nice to meet you! I'm Kiki, a high schooler based in Jakarta that is fueled by my passion for graphic design and my eagerness to share it with others. I have always been interested in the creative industry starting from a young age. I learned about design back in 2020 during the pandemic, which resulted in me completely exploring, diving, and falling in love with graphic design.
Launching Youth For Design has been an exhilarating endeavor where I merge my love for design, teaching, and community engagement. My mission is clear: to establish a welcoming environment where every student can unleash their creativity and hone essential skills.
Come join me on this inspiring journey as we delve into the endless possibilities of design!
The graphic design class at school is challenging for many of my peers taking the subject due to a lack of fundamental design knowledge, resulting in difficulty completing assigned projects.
Youth for Design will focus on helping the participants understand the basics of design through practical application in hopes of igniting a passion for design among students, enhancing their critical thinking skills and creativity across various aspects of life and education.
By making design education accessible, we can broaden perspectives and recognize its significance in shaping our world
Youth for Design will benefit students aged 14-16 who are interested in design, including peers from my design class as well as any other student in school and community who is interested in learning graphic design. Youth for Design will help them with that issue.
Youth For Design is still an ongoing project that we aim to complete late of 2024. We are aiming to help participants master the fundamentals of graphic design and helping them explore their creativity further.
