Jakarta's premier club for teens to learn and gain hands-on experience in graphic design
Youth for Design is a community that will teach peers in high school about graphic design. The 14 workshops consisting of 90 minutes will train the participants in design thinking, graphic design principles, and usage of Adobe applications. Participants will meet up once every two weeks.
Ideally, this project will become a community where peers can share ideas, have creative conversations, and support each other with design and design concepts.
Joining Youth For Design will have participants acquire practical skills in graphic design using industry-standard software like Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Through hands-on projects, participants will create a portfolio of work that showcases their design abilities, which can be valuable for future endeavors in design or related fields. Youth For Design offers a chance to explore participant's creativity in a structured environment, learning design principles and techniques that can be applied across various design projects.
Additionally, participants get the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals interested in design, fostering a supportive community and potential collaborations. Acquiring graphic design skills can enhance career prospects, whether pursuing a design-related profession or looking to add design expertise to a skill set.
